On May 21st, 2008, David Cook was officially the winner of American Idol - Season 7 with 56% of the votes with David Archuleta. He then sang "The Time of My Life" which was the winning song of the 2008 American Idol Songwriter's Competition.
I also had heard a copy of his songs where he was singing Mariah's Carrey "Always My Baby" with his version which was so cool. Guess you might want to hear that song.. ^^
